10.06.2011: Photographic greetings from China
Rosa Maria Eberli and Reto Schüpbach send us their greetings. They are currently underway in central Asia with their longbikes, in Kirgistan to be precise. They wrote that the shop visible below is specialized in bike repairs and that it is located in Kashgar, China.
09.06.2011: the oldest longbike enthusiast's name is Klara Gafner
This picture was sent to us from Interlaken. It was sent by A. And E. Acremann, long time owners of a Fateba longbike. They write:
"On this picture you can see our neighbor, Klara Gafner who at 101 (!) years old sat on the bike. She had been longing for that moment for a while. One day she told us she would really like to take a ride on that vehicle! It was a pleasure for us to make her wish come true!" And that is how this lady with a quite advanced age, always in a good mood, sure of herself and outgoing sat on this green "wheelchair"! Isn't it great that at such an age one can be so enthusiastic about something so anticonformist as the longbike by Fateba?
06.17.2011: The moving of our shop
On that day, the wheel was reinvented!
With the building of this brilliant vehicle, Yves Ducommun and Lukas Gossweiler celebrated the end of their mechanical engineering studies. Congratulations!
Pictures taken during our shop's move, Friday, June 17 2011.
